Fuel and Oil Analysis - Accurate analysis of your parts can save you time and money on the overall operation and maintenance costs of parts and machines.
As a Hydrotex® partner, a leader in the lubricants industry, J. Follace Oil has extensive training in Fuel and Oil Analysis. Accurate analysis of your parts can save you time and money on the overall operation and maintenance costs of parts and machines.
J. Follace Oil works at the grass roots level of each plant or operation. By developing a business plan dedicated to the local operation, each area of preventative/predictive maintenance can be identified and addressed in a proactive manner.
Knowing the operation inside and out helps J. Follace Oil develop a win-win plan to solve problems and reduce costs for our customers. By identifying cost drivers and developing processes and procedures, combined with the right lubricants and services, we can assist customers to develop a strong Preventative and Predictive Maintenance (P/PM) Program. It is well documented that operations with strong P/PM Programs are more profitable and competitive in their marketplace.
J. Follace Oil, in partnership with Hydrotex, provides application related ENERGY based cost studies. Typical results can show a 3% to 6% reduction in energy costs. With the rising cost of electricity, this savings can be significant.
Utilizing a cost analysis will help a customer understand the true cost of change. In addition, it will show the potential savings that can be achieved by making the recommended changes; the ROI analysis will predict when and how these changes will enhance the bottom line. Hydrotex recommends a cost analysis program periodically to ensure the data is current and can be verified.
Time Table and Process Management: J. Follace Oil and the customer’s local operations personnel will develop a time table and process management plan to maximize the opportunity; the goal is to increase production, reduce operational costs and maximize profits. This step enables the customer to manage internal expectations regarding deadlines, timing and process milestones.
Training and Educational Programs: Hydrotex provides several training opportunities. One is the Hydrotex Lubrication University Qualifying School. This training program entails 40 hours of intense lubrication education. Hydrotex developed this training workshop to ensure individuals at the customer’s local and corporate level gain an understanding of the fundamentals of lubrication and specific application theory.
A Lubrication University training program may also be designed for the local plant and operations personnel. Training can be conducted at the customer’s facility, through continuing education programs and application specific topics. This training is VERY important to a successful P/PM program. In addition, Hydrotex conducts numerous training and educational programs at national, regional and local associations, trade shows and educational forums.
Oil Analysis Program: J. Follace Oil recommends the use of an independent oil analysis program. Using oil analysis on a periodic basis can help identify potential equipment problems and trend internal changes in diesel, hydraulic and gear oil sumps. Oil analysis is another part of the base line information designed to help extend oil drain intervals, maximize equipment lifecycles, reduce unplanned downtime and increase production capabilities. The ROI of a good sampling program can be in the millions of dollars.
